Playa José Martí, known as Playa Martí, is an urban beach on the boundary between the city of Veracruz and Boca del Río, along the coastal boulevard. It is a wide beach of light-colored sand and generally calm water, and one of the busiest in the port, used for walking, exercising, and playing soccer and volleyball on the sand.
