Small beach on Isla de Chivos, a hill facing Cerro del Crestón (home of Mazatlán's lighthouse), on the Isla de la Piedra side. It stopped being an island when a breakwater joined it to Isla de la Piedra; during the 20th century it was dynamited in stages and its rock was used for the port works. It is reached by boat from the port or by car to the end of the breakwater. Its waters are generally calm, with few waves. Even so, currents can form. Divers and snorkelers visit it.
