Beach at the southern end of Mazatlán's Zona Dorada, next to Punta Camarón, the rocky point where the hotel zone begins, along Avenida Camarón Sábalo. It is wide and sandy, with a gently sloping bottom that extends well offshore. On the beach itself the waves are usually calm. Waves break on both sides of the point and are used by beginner and intermediate surfers. It is lined with hotels and condominiums.
