Beach in the middle of Mazatlán's Zona Dorada, north of Punta Camarón, along Avenida Camarón Sábalo and lined with hotels and condominiums. It is one of the city's busiest beaches. Its surf is usually calm to moderate. Offshore lies Isla de Venados, one of Mazatlán's three islands (Venados, Pájaros and Lobos) regarded as ecological reserves; boats and kayaks leave from this area for the islands, mainly for snorkeling.
