Beach in downtown Playa del Carmen at the end of Avenida Constituyentes, next to the pier of the same name, from which boats to Cozumel also depart. It is a beach access much used by city residents and the northern end of the main beach, which runs from the ferry pier, to the south, up to this avenue. Like the rest of the Playa del Carmen shore, it is sheltered from the open sea by the island of Cozumel, so the waves are usually gentle, although storms can bring strong currents.
