Public beach on Cozumel's west coast, north of downtown San Miguel and before the Puerto Abrigo marina, close to town. Like the rest of the western shore, which faces the channel between the island and the mainland, it usually has gentle waves. The entry into the water is rocky in places. Offshore, about 6 meters deep, lie concrete blocks from a destroyed pier, placed there as an artificial reef, which snorkelers explore. It is a gathering spot for island families on Sundays and holidays.
