About Playa Bonita
By Equipe editorial GTM Labs · Updated
San Felipe is a fishing port on the northern coast of Yucatán, about 11 kilometers west of Río Lagartos, at the entrance of the ría that runs parallel to the coast toward El Cuyo. The town, with its wooden houses, has a waterfront promenade along the estuary. Playa Bonita is across the ría, facing the town, and is reached by boat from the port. It is a white-sand beach. The area is part of the Ría Lagartos Biosphere Reserve, known for its flamingos.
