About Playa Chabihau

By Equipe editorial GTM Labs · Updated

Chabihau is a small fishing port in the municipality of Yobaín, on the northern coast of Yucatán, about 58 kilometers east of Progreso. It lies between San Crisanto to the west and Santa Clara to the east, and a paved road connects it with Yobaín, the municipal seat. Its water is calm and very shallow near the shore. Behind the beach there is an estuary with mangroves where birds can be seen, and the Maya archaeological site of Chabihau is near the town.
