About Playa San Crisanto
By Equipe editorial GTM Labs · Updated
San Crisanto is a small coastal fishing settlement in the municipality of Sinanché, on the northern coast of Yucatán, between Telchac Puerto and Chabihau, a little over an hour from Mérida. It is surrounded by mangroves and has cenotes near the coast. A community cooperative opened channels through the mangroves and runs boat or kayak outings to a freshwater spring, as well as birdwatching. The beach has light-colored sand and a calm sea with very gentle waves.
