Small public beach on Cozumel's west coast, south of downtown San Miguel and close to the piers, facing the channel between the island and the mainland. That leeward coast usually has calmer water than the island's east side. Much of the shoreline is rocky, and it is the closest beach to town for anyone arriving on foot or by bike.
