Playa Revolcadero is an open-ocean beach southeast of Puerto Marqués, in the Acapulco Diamante zone, beside Boulevard de las Naciones, which leads to the international airport. It runs for more than four kilometers and its sand is dark gray. Its surf ranges from moderate to high, and its name refers to the force of the Pacific on this coast, and it draws experienced surfers. Hotels and condominiums built since the 1980s stand behind the beach. Horseback rides are offered along the shore.
