Western stretch of Playa Icacos, in the Acapulco Dorado area, in front of the Club Deportivo neighborhood. Icacos is the longest beach on Santa Lucía Bay, running about two kilometers along the Costera Miguel Alemán to the Naval Base at the east end of the bay. Its surf varies: waves are usually moderate and get gentler from west to east, toward the part sheltered by El Guitarrón hill; this stretch lies on the west side, the least sheltered. It is a spot for water sports such as parasailing, jet skis and banana boats.
