Playa Condesa lies on the northeast side of Santa Lucía Bay, in the Acapulco Dorado zone, along Avenida Costera Miguel Alemán starting at the Diana Cazadora traffic circle. It is an urban beach about 650 meters long, backed by high-rise buildings and hotels. It takes the open Pacific head-on and often has strong surf. Some 200 meters offshore is the rocky islet of El Morro, also called Farallón del Obispo. It is a spot for water sports such as parasailing and, at night, one of the port's bar and nightlife areas.
