Playa La Roqueta is on the island of the same name, facing Caleta and Caletilla beaches at the entrance to Acapulco Bay. It is reached by boat from Caleta and Caletilla, a trip of about 10 to 15 minutes; some boats have glass bottoms and pass the submerged statue of the Virgen de los Mares. It is a small, rustic beach with generally calm waters. The island has jungle vegetation, trails and a hilltop lighthouse with views of the bay, and there are snorkeling and diving spots around it.
