About Playa Caletilla
By Equipe editorial GTM Labs · Updated
Playa Caletilla is the smaller of the two twin beaches at the southern end of Acapulco Bay, in the Acapulco Tradicional zone. A small islet separates it from Caleta and, together with Isla La Roqueta, shelters it from the open sea, so its surf is usually very low. Boats leave its pier for La Roqueta, including glass-bottom boats that pass the submerged statue of the Virgen de los Mares on a nearby rocky islet. There is a crafts market next to the beach. It draws mostly families.
