About Playa Salinas Roca Partida
By Equipe editorial GTM Labs · Updated
Playa Salinas Roca Partida is on the Los Tuxtlas coast, in the municipality of San Andrés Tuxtla, at Arroyo de Liza, the village closest to Roca Partida, a volcanic headland of cliffs with two large detached rock blocks, basalt columns and a sea cave known as the Cueva del Pirata. On the cliff stands the Roca Partida lighthouse, a 13-meter white tower run by the Mexican Navy. It is reached from El Trópico, on the Veracruz–San Andrés Tuxtla highway, or from Catemaco by the road to Montepío.
