About Playa Costa de Oro

By Equipe editorial GTM Labs · Updated

Playa Costa de Oro, also called Arroyo de Oro, is on the Los Tuxtlas coast, in the municipality of San Andrés Tuxtla. It is a wide beach of golden sand, where a river coming down from the mountains reaches the sea and separates it from the neighboring village of Arroyo de Liza, where the climb to the Roca Partida cliffs begins. It is reached from Catemaco or San Andrés Tuxtla by the coastal road toward Montepío. The municipality is one of those covered by the Reserva de la Biosfera Los Tuxtlas.
