Beach in front of downtown Puerto Escondido, on the town's main bay, with low to moderate surf, between Playa Marinero to the east and Puerto Angelito to the west. It is the fishermen's beach: fishing boats and water taxis to other beaches anchor here. A seaside walkway links it with Puerto Angelito and Manzanillo.
