Beach in Puerto Escondido between Playa Principal and Zicatela, separated from the latter by the El Moro rocky outcrop. It is reached from the street or by walking along the shore from Playa Principal. It is the transition between the bay and the open sea of Zicatela, and its waves, gentler than Zicatela's, make it a base for beginner surf schools.
