About Playa Salagua
By Equipe editorial GTM Labs · Updated
Semi-urban golden-sand beach on Manzanillo Bay, in front of the town of Salagua, between Playa Azul and the Santiago peninsula. It is part of the stretch of beaches that, from south to north, are Las Brisas, Azul and Salagua. Its waves are moderate to strong. The Salagua stream flows into the sea here. The old port of Salagua was a landing point for Spanish explorers in the 16th century, and Manzanillo holds sailfish tournaments in this bay.
