Small beach at the western end of Santiago Bay, in Manzanillo, next to the hill and peninsula of Juluapan, where the Juluapan lagoon, fringed by mangroves, meets the sea. The shape of the bay shelters it from the open ocean. Its waves are usually small. Offshore, about 9 meters down, lies the hull of a cargo ship that sank in the mid-20th century, one of the most visited snorkeling and diving sites in Manzanillo; it is reached by boat or kayak from the beach. It is popular with families and fishermen.
