Beach on the inner side of the Punta Banda peninsula, which closes off Bahía de Todos Santos to the south, about 16 km south of downtown Ensenada, on the road to La Bufadora. Being on the bay side, it is sheltered from the open ocean and its waters are usually calm. It is lined with residential and camping areas (Campo La Jolla). Hot water seeps through the sand at the shoreline, linked to the Agua Blanca fault and studied by CICESE.
