Northern stretch of the urban beach of Rosarito, seat of the municipality of Playas de Rosarito, about 2 km north of downtown, on the Pacific coast. It is part of the same long, open-ocean stretch of sand that runs along the city, lined with beachfront homes and buildings. Like the rest of Rosarito's beaches, known for their big waves, it draws surfers and visitors from both sides of the border.
