Long sandy beach on the Pacific coast, below the town of La Misión, next to the scenic Tijuana–Ensenada highway. A river flows out at its southern end, forming shifting sandbars. It is a beach with strong surf, known among surfers for its peaks over a sandy bottom and less crowded than other breaks along the corridor; it is also used for walking, camping and horseback riding.
