Straight sandy beach, a little over a kilometer long, at El Comitán, on the way north out of La Paz along the road through El Centenario, about 11 kilometers from the city. It lies on the Ensenada de La Paz, the coastal lagoon enclosed by the El Mogote sandbar, sheltered from the open sea, with mangroves behind it.
