City beach in the El Manglito neighborhood, at the southern end of the La Paz waterfront, facing the Ensenada enclosed by the El Mogote sandbar. It takes its name from the former Gran Baja hotel that stood in front of it. It is one of the few beach spaces residents of that part of the city use for recreation.
