Stretch of city beach at the start of the La Paz malecón, at Márquez de León avenue, in downtown La Paz. It faces the Ensenada de La Paz, sheltered from the open sea by the El Mogote sandbar across the channel. Alongside the sand runs the malecón promenade, about 5 kilometers long, used for walking, running and cycling, with views of sunsets over the bay.
