An urban beach in downtown Puerto Vallarta, running north of the Malecón. It is about 640 meters long and some 30 meters wide, from the jetty in front of Villa Premiere in the north to Calle Jesús Langarica, next to Hotel Rosita, where the Malecón begins. Its waves are usually calm. It is a flat, dark-sand beach, easy to reach on foot from downtown, with water-sports rentals, boat trips and beachfront restaurants.
