Playa Ventura is in the municipality of Copala, on Guerrero's Costa Chica, about 150 km from Acapulco, and is reached by a paved road. It has a small bay open to the sea, with moderate surf, and rock formations that shape its landscape. Together with neighboring Casa de Piedra beach, it is one of the most visited attractions in the municipality. It draws mostly alternative-tourism and ecotourism travelers who come for fishing and horseback riding.
