Beach on the Tapachula coast, in the Barra de Cahoacán area, east of Puerto Chiapas (Puerto Madero), about 30 km from the city. It is a long strip of golden sand, open to the sea on one side and to the estuary on the other, with strong surf. It is reached by the road to Puerto Chiapas and is a residential area; sportfishing and boat trips through the mangroves are offered nearby.
