Beach on Maguey Bay, about 3 km from Santa Cruz, in Bahías de Huatulco. It is about half a kilometer long, with white sand, and is known for its calm waters. It is reached by road or by boat from the Santa Cruz pier. The bay is part of Huatulco National Park, created in 1998, which protects five of the nine bays and the most important coral communities on Mexico's Pacific coast.
