Small beach within Santa Cruz Bay, in Bahías de Huatulco, with about 200 meters of sand. It is reached by road from Santa Cruz and La Crucecita, or by boat from the Santa Cruz pier. A coral reef lies just offshore, one of the most accessible on Mexico's Pacific coast, which keeps its waters generally calm, and visitors come to snorkel. Its name, "the handover", recalls 1831, when General Vicente Guerrero was tricked into landing here and handed over to his captors, who later executed him in Cuilápam.
