Long open-ocean beach in front of the town of San Juan de Alima, in the municipality of Aquila, near the Colima state line, next to Federal Highway 200, with surf that is often strong and changes with the season. It is one of the spots on the Michoacán coast with the most hotels, cabins and seafood eateries, and it is popular mainly with families. A few kilometers away is the Las Brisas lookout, where people go paragliding.
