Beach on a bay surrounded by cliffs, islets and rock formations, at El Faro de Bucerías, in the municipality of Aquila. It has light-colored sand and largely untouched coastal vegetation, and seabirds nest on the islets and rocks. It is the territory of Nahua communities, which manage it communally and practice small-scale fishing. It is reached via Federal Highway 200 and a final stretch of dirt road. It draws snorkelers and divers. The surf is usually calm on the left side of the beach, while other guides mention it for its surfing waves.
