Open-ocean beach next to the village of Chuquiapan, on the coast of the municipality of Lázaro Cárdenas, between La Soledad and Las Peñas, near Federal Highway 200. It has fine sand with rocky stretches and generally calm to moderate surf, and is several kilometers long. It is a little-developed place used for camping and draws travelers looking for an uncrowded beach.
