Punta Xen is a beach in the municipality of Champotón, about 20 to 27 kilometers south of the town, along Federal Highway 180 toward Ciudad del Carmen. It is a stretch of white sand with little development and gentle waves. A sea turtle camp devoted to the hawksbill turtle operates in the area, and hatchling releases take place between April and September.
