Beach in San Carlos Nuevo Guaymas, on the stretch of coast between central San Carlos and Guaymas, next to the El Soldado estuary, a wetland protected by the state since 2006 and a Ramsar site. It is one of the longest beaches in the area, with sand and a sandy bottom and generally gentle surf. It draws mostly families, who come to swim and collect shells.
