About Playa Costa Azul
By Equipe editorial GTM Labs · Updated
Beach at the southwestern edge of San José del Cabo, at kilometer 28 of the Corredor Turístico highway, where the city's stretch of beaches begins. It is the main surf spot in Los Cabos: breaks known as Zippers and La Roca are here, and just to the south is Acapulquito, with gentler waves. The biggest waves arrive with south swells from May to October; in winter the sea is usually calmer. Access is through the arroyo under the Costa Azul bridge; it is also used for walking and shore fishing.
