Beach on the scenic road from La Paz to Pichilingue, described as the first one on that stretch, where the two roads out of the city meet. Next to it are mangroves that, together with those of neighboring Playa Enfermería, belong to the coastal wetland running toward Balandra and serve as a nursery for shrimp, crabs and fish. Its waters usually have gentle waves. It is a sunset gathering spot for locals.
